jus bought a book yesturday. its teaches the readers how to perform well at work, and behave at your workplaces. wad does it has to do with morals? there's one part which states that you could get certain infomation from friends whom u jus need to say hi, smiled or "show" concern. you are not doing anything not ethical or unlawful. However, i feel that you make friends with sincerity not to achieve some motive. A friend who share with me someone's philosophy about friends is "Friends make use of one another at certain stages of life." After hearing such statement, i feel that this world is scary. Can you still trust someone easily? which side would you choose? your own gain or concious? I am confused. As i was brought up in an environment preaching morals and ethics and school teachs moral education[which seemed boring to most], it's hard for me to choose. Sometimes, i feel that this makes me in the losing end, losing in this competitive society. This leads to another provoking thoughts - does morals exists in a competitve, economic driven and capitalise society?
